CUGIR is an active online repository in the National Spatial Data Clearinghouse program. CUGIR provides geospatial data and metadata for New York State, with special emphasis on those natural features relevant to agriculture, ecology, natural resources, and human-environment interactions.
In order to provide the best possible access to geospatial data for New York State, CUGIR coordinates its activities with those of the New York State GIS Clearinghouse.

October 27, 2008 -- New parcel boundaries for 2008 are available, with additional information (property class, address, and school district) from the Real Property Services (RPS) database.
Monroe County Freshwater Wetlands
September 26, 2008 -- Updated NYSDEC freshwater wetlands for Monroe County are now available.
New York Ocean and Great Lakes Atlas
September 10, 2008 -- The New York Ocean and Great Lakes Ecosystem Conservation Council has created an online Atlas, which offers webmapping and downloads of hundreds of data sets related to the ecosystems of the Great Lakes and Atlantic Ocean watersheds.
